Eleuthera

Over the past three years there has been a resurge of interest in Eleuthera. Several high-end beach communities are in various stages of development. While more and more people are discovering the tranquil, laid-back lifestyle Eleuthera offers, the island is in no danger of losing its quiet, friendly charm.

Restaurants are abundant throughout the island. Governor's Harbour and Palmetto Point have numerous dining choices, including Tippy's, the most popular restaurant in Eleuthera.

Governor's Harbour also has some excellent shops, car rentals, post office, gas stations, banks -including an ATM at Barclay's Bank and numerous grocery stores.

Many residents get fresh produce from a local farm near Palmetto Point.
