Located on New Providence Island, Nassau is the capital of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and home to about two thirds of the Bahamas' entire population. The Lynden Pindling International Airport is the largest and primary airport for the Bahamas. It is about 10 miles west of downtown Nassau, and has daily flights to major cities in the USA, Canada, the UK, and the Caribbean.
